The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) was established on 1999 under Republic Act No. 8759. The objectives of PESO is to ensure the prompt, timely and efficient delivery of employment service and provision of information on the other programs of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

    Specifically the PESO shall provide a venue where people could explore simultaneously various employment options and actually seek assistance they prefer. The PESO serves also as referral and information center for the various services and programs of some government agencies attached to DOLE such as POEA, OWWA, DFA, TESDA, DOST (TLDC), etc. The PESO also provide the client with adequate information on the employment and labor market situation in the area.

     Last October 5-8, 2011, the PESO managers nationwide under PESOPHIL, INC. and the Department of Labor and Employment hold its 11th National PESO Congress in Davao City with the theme: “DISENTE AT PRODUKTIBONG TRABAHO, PESO ANG KAAGAPAY NG ESTADO”. One of the objectives of the congress is to give recognition to the PESO Managers who are deserving in delivering the programs and services and good practices of PESO. This 2011 congress, the PESO Rosales received the BEST PESO award (the highest reward) in the category of 1st to 3rd class municipality in the regional level.
